Gothic Quarter Tours

Affiliate Disclosure

Plainly, and before anything else: Gothic Quarter Tours may earn a commission when you book through a link on this site, at no extra cost to you.

What that means in practice

The tours listed here are sold by Viator and GetYourGuide. When you follow a link from one of these pages and go on to book, the platform pays us a share of its own commission. You pay the same price either way; the price on the booking page is the operator's price, not a marked-up one.

What we are not

We are not a tour operator, a museum or a ticketing authority. We do not run any of these walks, employ any of these guides, or hold your booking. Your contract is with the operator, through the platform.

We have no connection with Barcelona Cathedral, the Ajuntament de Barcelona, Turisme de Barcelona, the Barcelona City History Museum (MUHBA) or any other body named on these pages.

How tours get listed

Operators cannot pay for placement, position or a badge. The badges are arithmetic: the best seller is the tour with the most reviews, and a top-rated one carries a 4.9 rating or higher. There is no best-value badge, because the lowest price captured is a Segway company's five-minute test drive, and calling that the best value would be literally true and misleading.

Where one operator sells the same walk on both platforms, both listings appear, because both are separately bookable. The three featured tours at the top of the homepage are three different kinds of outing — a daytime walk, a tapas evening and a ghost walk — from three operators meeting in three different places.

Prices, ratings and how current they are

Prices, star ratings and review counts belong to the operators and were read from their own listings on 15 September 2026. They move, and the price at checkout is the one that counts. Everything is quoted in US dollars because that is the currency the listings were captured in; nothing here is converted at an exchange rate. Some GetYourGuide listings showed a struck-through higher price on the day they were read, and the live price is the one shown.

Where we state a fact about the Gothic Quarter, it comes from the body that publishes it: Barcelona Cathedral (catedralbcn.org) for its prices, hours and accesses, and Turisme de Barcelona for the Temple of Augustus. The rules for guided groups come from the Ajuntament de Barcelona's press announcements, read through news coverage because the city's own site did not load for us.
